Townshend College has been in operation since 1992, and we are registered as a private career college under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005 and our diploma programs are approved as vocational training programs under the same act. Our motto is Knowledge is Power and our mission is To Help You Launch Your Career. We do not consider these two phrases as mere slogans, but daily realities for us to implement. We understand that superior skills command better jobs and career prospects for individuals. We understand that these also provide knowledgeable and competent employees for the businesses world.

Townshend has, through the past 17 years, offered a number of diploma programs and we will build on our current base. We will be offering continuing education opportunities. We will also offer corporate training programs. This month, we launched our new Entrepreneurship Centre by developing a number of courses that can help starting entrepreneurs begin business operations. Lots of information is available about business start-ups on the Internet, but we believe that our focused and to-the-point courses will provide very practical and immediately applicable help to start-up entrepreneurs and to small and medium-sized businesses as well.
