Admission to Townshend College |
- In general, students applying for admission to Townshend College must have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent.
- Specific programs may have additional admission requirements and prospective students should review each program outline for details.
- Applicants may also apply as Mature Students.
- Townshend will also accept College Transfers.
Mature Student Admissions Applicants who do not have the minimum academic admission requirements may apply under the mature student category, if they are 19 years of age or older at the start of the program. An interview with an Admissions Officer is required and possibly a testing session. Click here for application form. Admission Testing To meet Townshend admission requirements, applicants may be asked to take admission tests. Determination of this will be done by the Admissions Office, and are based on an assessment of all submitted credentials. The testing process may last up to two (2) hours. Most frequent testing is done to determine English and/or Math proficiency. Should applicants not meet the required admission standards, re-testing will not be permitted within three months, unless the applicant has completed updating or tutoring.
